HomeAtmo is an Apple-native app that centralizes data from all your Netatmo devices into one interface. It supports Netatmo Weather Stations (and modules: indoor modules, rain gauges, wind sensors), Healthy Home Coach / Aircare sensors, Thermostats & Valves, and Smart Smoke/CO alarms (coming soon). It runs on iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and Mac.

You do not create a HomeAtmo account. Sign in with your existing Netatmo account: authentication is handled by Netatmo’s website. After you authorize the app, Netatmo issues tokens that are stored encrypted on your device so HomeAtmo can access your devices.

HomeAtmo is free to download. An in‑app purchase unlocks the Full Version. Without it you can view a limited set of measurements (e.g., current temperature, rainfall, wind speed). The Full Version unlocks all available measurements, full multi-curve graphs, full-screen charts and other paid Mac features like the configurable measurement bar in the menu bar and graph export.

HomeAtmo provides multi-curve graphs that let you compare up to five curves of the same measurement type over a selected time range or calendar period. You can choose preset calendar ranges (day, week, month, quarter, half-year, year) or custom date ranges, view min/max/average/cumulative values where applicable, and use an interactive cursor to inspect values over time. Graph features require the Full Version.

Yes. Dashboards are fully customizable — reorder sensors and measurements, filter by location, equipment type, or view all equipment. Display options include color or monochrome mode, show/hide titles, adaptive or column-aligned layouts, dark/light mode support, and adjustable font/gauge sizes. Widgets (small and medium) are also configurable for any sensor and can appear on the home or lock screen.

HomeAtmo offers a companion Apple Watch app (requires the iPhone app). It provides a compact dashboard of Weather, Air Care and Energy sensors, scrollable lists via touch or Digital Crown, and multiple complications. Complications adapt to the watch face and provide different types of sensor information depending on the complication selected.

Authentication is performed by Netatmo. HomeAtmo never stores your Netatmo account password. After authorization, Netatmo issues tokens; the token and refresh token are stored encrypted on your device. The app is GDPR-compliant and the developer states they do not sell or share personal data. Location shown in the app comes from your Netatmo equipment.

HomeAtmo respects the unit preferences set in your Netatmo account. Supported units include °C/°F, mbar/inHg/mmHg for pressure, mm/inch for precipitation, and speed units such as km/h, mph, m/s, knot, and the Beaufort scale. The app is available in multiple languages (English, French and others added over time) and supports iOS/iPadOS/macOS/watchOS native UI.

Data refreshes automatically according to each sensor’s refresh period; you can also manually refresh the dashboard by pulling to refresh. Check that your Netatmo account is still authorized (re-authenticate via Netatmo if needed), ensure your Netatmo devices are online, and verify the app is up to date.
